PhD on project ‘Transnational Collaboration at the Digital Frontier’ (ITU)

The PhD student will be responsible for researching sub project 2, which examines how forms of organizational expertise circulate in transnational networks and shape best practices of digital government, and how the day-to-day exchange of knowledge across borders takes place. The ethnographic work takes its starting point in Danish public sector networks (including both international and corporate actors) organizing public digitalization and will involve following relationships beyond Denmark’s borders using ethnographic fieldwork and other qualitative methods. The candidate is expected to design their own ethnographic research project in line with this theme, while also contributing to the overall project.
