PhD positions on the ethics of stem cell and/or gene therapy

The department of Ethics & Law at Leiden University Medical Center is recruiting two PhD candidates to be part of the Novo Nordisk center for stem cell medicine (reNEW). The PhD candidates will carry out empirical research into the ethical and normative aspects of the development of stem cell and/or gene therapies, and their potential first-in-human trials. Depending on the interests of the candidates, the positions offer opportunity to conduct more theoretical research on the ethics of these therapies.
