PhD fellowship in “Education and Digital Data Visualizations”

The Danish School of Education (Copenhagen campus), Aarhus University, in collaboration with the Independent Research Fund Denmark, invites applications for a fully funded PhD fellowship. The PhD fellowship is part of a larger study on the influence of data visualizations in digital learning materials on teachers’ evaluation practices. The PhD student is to conduct an ethnographic study of teachers’ engagement with these data visualizations in mathematics and Danish in lower-secondary education (folkeskolens udskoling). The purpose is to produce knowledge about how data visualizations become part of teachers’ knowledge practices and student assessments.
