Please update your information on, if necessary

Dear all DASTS members

This message is an encouragement to update your membership information on – if and when necessary.

Since 2006 when DASTS was founded, members have joined and left the association, and many of our current members have naturally changed institutional affiliation and jobs after they signed up.

DASTS use (and only use) the information provided by members to send out news by email once to twice a week, and to display a list of members on the website with name, department and institutional affiliation (no email is displayed) .

We want our membership list to stay up-to-date and in the future we may choose to delete members profiles with non-updated information in order to avoid the risk of hosting dead accounts (or potential robot members, which are not always easy to spot.

If you don’t remember your password and do no have access your old email address to retrieve- you can either email us or create a new profile and let us know to delete the old one

If you are no longer interested in being a member of DASTS, you can always delete your profile at, ask us to do so, or simply sign off from receiving news, when you receive the next news.-email.

Thank you!

We hope to see many of you at the biannual DASTS conference hosted by CBS in 2020, which already has a very promising looking programme:

We also want to remind you that our journal STS Encounters encourages submission of papers from scholars at all career stage,

We would also like to remind you that DASTS and STS Encounters has established a platform for publication of excellent student papers. So if you act as examiner, please encourage students who have written an excellent STS-related paper (BA project, master thesis or other), to submit it. It is easy and requires only little work from the students, ….See There is form at the webpage which you can print and bring to the exam.
