FINAL CALL FOR PAPERS: SURVEILLANCE BEYOND BORDERS AND BOUNDARIES
In June, 2018, Aarhus University will host the 8th Biennial Surveillance Studies Network Conference. The conference has become established as the world’s most significant gathering of surveillance studies experts. It is organised by Aarhus University in collaboration with the University of Copenhagen and the Surveillance Studies Network.
The conference invites papers and panels from all areas of critical enquiry that seek to examine complex articulations and impacts of surveillance in contemporary society. We welcome contributions from academics, activists, artists, and policy-makers, especially those who sit on the borderlands between academia and practice-based knowledge production.
We hope the conference will inspire proposals and collaborations across departments and research environments.
The deadline for proposals is December 31, 2017. Please visit the website for information and updates and find the full call for papers below.
